Life's like that...

Hello Fundoos,
Just thought I would sign off for the day by writing a small note to you all...
I have attached a copy of an article I just read.....( The one below)
I was so inspired and then encouraged....
I hope you read it and feel the same.

I dont know how many times, I have questioned God ...WHY ME?
And I have never received an answer, but now I know, through past experiences,
He also gives us solutions, a number of them in fact, some easy and some really tough.
Each have their own path... and all of them lead to the same reward... except that there is just one that is the right one.. WE NEED HIS BLESSINGS, to find this right solution.

In some instances, we need to have patience to find out why we are going through a bad time or a patch. The answers are always there and the reasons are always manifested to us, at a later date.
We just need to have simple FAITH.

Love you all and Godbless!

awe inspiring!!

NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP!!!
A new pledge from the cause

NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP!!!

It starts with you
TAKE THE PLEDGE
Evangelist Nick Vujicic, who spoke at Saddleback Church in Calif. on Sunday, was born with neither arms nor legs, and questioned God for eight years why it was so. The answer changed his life, and through him that of tens of thousands of others.

For the now 30-year-old Nick, founding president and CEO of the nonprofit organization Life Without Limbs, the most important thing in life was to understand why God made him without arms and legs.

Speaking at Pastor Rick Warren's church in Lake Forest on Sunday evening, the inspirational speaker said he spent eight years asking God, "Why? Why was I born this way? I don't understand how can You say You love me when You allow me to stay in this pain."

Vujicic, who has been living in California since 2007, was born in Brisbane, Australia. His parents – Pastor Boris Vujicic and nurse Dushka Vujicic – were not given any medical explanation or warning about his birth with neither arms nor legs. But Nick got the answer to his desperate prayers.

John 9:1-3 spoke to him in a special way. The New Testament portion reads: "As he (Jesus) went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?' 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned,' said Jesus, 'but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.'"

The Life Without Limbs author described his feelings after reading these verses. "I got goosebumps on my skin I don't even have," he told the congregants. "And I had faith because I understood something. You see, all I wanted to know was that God knew what He was doing with me."

By the age of 19, Nick started to fulfill his dream of being able to encourage other people and bring them the Gospel of Jesus through motivational speaking and sharing his testimony about how God changed his life and gave him a future and a hope.

The desire to have arms and legs has remained, Vujicic admitted. Initially, he thought, "Lord, if you give me arms and legs, I'll go around the world and share your power with the world." He said he still has ups and downs in life. "I am just like you."

Vujicic said he has failed God every single day, but has relies on Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Vujicic recalled he and dozens of his Christian friends once prayed for 90 minutes for his arms and legs in a farm in a jungle in India. They made arms and legs with clay, and prayed it turn into flesh and bone. It didn't happen, but he had peace in his heart as he saw an eagle soaring in the sky throughout those 90 minutes. He said it was as if God was smiling, and was happy he had the faith to pray.

"Please give me arms and legs. But if You don't give me arms and legs, I trust You." This has been Vujicic's prayer. He said his commitment to Jesus is "to want His plan, and not my plan ... even when I don't understand."

Hi Guys,
Just thought I would give you this piece of information.. I have read articles similar to this in the past... and I think this information is really good. Do try and eat more fruit from time to time.

EATING FRUIT...
(Embedded image moved to file: pic04343.jpg)

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our
mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how andwhen to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTYSTOMACH.
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with
a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to
go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes
into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to
                                             spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people
complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I
eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat
the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and
                                       hence you will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen
if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become
alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you
have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health,
                                energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even
drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients
at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink
it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.
You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice
throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its
vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has
antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the
risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major
fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol,
prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of
glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the
cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C
content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in
carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold
water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow
down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by
the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn
into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should
know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense
pain in thejaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart
attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.
Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

On a lighter note:

"A Woman's Prayer:
Dear Lord, I pray for: wisdom, to understand a man, to love and to forgive him, and for patience, for his moods.....because Lord, if I pray for strength I'll just beat him to death".

George please note I have been praying...!

Today's Verse:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

It was so kind of Peace and Happiness, to invite us, on New Year's day! I had just arrived the previous night and it would have been quite depressing for us to be alone at home. Pops and I thoroughly enjoyed the day! Aunty Peace had cooked such lovely tasty food  and Uncle Lahan played the most beautiful music.

I visited them in their new house for the first time.. it such a big house and Aunty Peace and Uncle Lahan have made it a cosy home. I hope we see a house as big and beautiful as theirs. Even if it means that we might have to move to the area between Dubai and Sharjah, that is called the Al Nahda area.

Check us out, we, 2 sets of parents!! Aint we good looking and happy and smiling?!
